Who it's for

Experience is the one thing a new network cannot build quickly.

Manipal 2nd Innings is opening first in Tamil Nadu. It needs people who have run teams, served customers, managed money and earned trust. That might be you.

  • Starting a second career

You have spent years in one field and want your next chapter to mean something closer to home.

    • Moving on from a corporate or government career
    • Back after a break and ready to work again
    • Wanting work that fits around your life today

  • Retired, but not tired

You have retired from service, but not from being useful. You have time, judgement and a network that should not go to waste.

    • Retired from banking, teaching, the armed forces, public service or business
    • Happy to give a few hours a week, or more
    • Keen to guide younger people as well as work alongside them

What you get out of it

The coach writes your one-page resume.

Talk to it for a few minutes and it turns the conversation into a resume you can download and send to anyone. The "Create Resume" button appears once you've told it enough to write something worthwhile.

What goes in it

  • A headline that sums up who you are in one line
  • A short statement of purpose — what you want from this next chapter
  • A brief description of your background
  • Your relevant work history, in plain words rather than job titles
  • Your family background, if you choose to share it
  • Your preferred work location and timings
  • Never an Aadhaar number, a PAN, a bank detail or an income figure

Try it now

You do not need an account to start. Register when you are ready and the conversation comes with you.

How it works

Four simple steps.

  1. Register

Tell us about your experience, what you would like to do next, and where in Tamil Nadu you are.

  2. Talk to the coach

A few minutes of questions, one at a time, and it writes your one-page resume.

  3. Hear from the team

Someone from Manipal HR Synergies calls you to get to know you and answer your questions.

  4. Start your innings

Work with the businesses and communities around you, alongside people of every age.

Questions

Before you register.

Do I have to be retired?

No. Manipal 2nd Innings is for anyone starting a second career, whether you are still working, between roles, back after a break or retired.

Is this a job? Is it paid?

Roles differ in the time they need and in their terms. Someone from Manipal HR Synergies will talk through both before anyone starts.

Which languages can I use?

This page is available in English, Hindi and Tamil. The coach itself currently replies in English only — Hindi and Tamil for the coach are on the way.

Where would I work?

Manipal 2nd Innings is opening first in Tamil Nadu, then in other states the network reaches.

Does registering cost anything?

No, and it never will. If anyone asks you to pay to join, do not pay, and write to hello@moneypalgroup.com.
